Chris’s career has spanned several key areas of the financial services industry starting in the mid 1990’s as a financial advisor.

In the late 1990’s, Chris moved onto the asset management side of the industry where he worked directly for the investment firms extending approximately 15 years. There he learned how investment products are created and managed.  During this time, Chris advanced to become a liaison of the portfolio managers of various investment channels. His role would allow him to learn from the fund managers to understand both the changes they would make inside their portfolios, but more importantly, why those changes were being made.  He would then travel various parts of the country as the spokesperson for their programs while educating financial advisors on the economy, market conditions and portfolio construction both individually and as a speaker at regional and national events.

With more than 31 years of experience, Melinda La Pert is the Willow Bend Group’s dedicated Registered Operations Manager. She began her financial service career in 1985 with Merrill Lynch and has been a part of the Willow Bend Group since 2006. Melinda's focus is on all aspects related to client support and a high level of customer service. She is passionate about helping our clients and she strives to exceed expectations by providing exceptional client service. Melinda is Series 7 and 63 registered.
